YouTube - Blues Guitar Lesson- Am Pentatonic Licks_1256841045894When you’re just starting out you need all the help you can get.

While this video is a little old, Peter Vogle does a good job of showing you how to play the A minor pentatonic scale around the 5th fret.

Sure this won’t get you soloing right away but it is important, especially when you consider that these are exactly the same notes as found in the C major scale.

You’ll need to know this if you want to enter the improv world with some Bluesy licks.
