<p>While this video is a little old, Peter Vogle does a good job of showing you how to play the A minor pentatonic scale around the 5th fret.</p>
<p>Sure this won&#8217;t get you soloing right away but it is important, especially when you consider that these are exactly the same notes as found in the C major scale.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll need to know this if you want to enter the improv world with some Bluesy licks.</p>

<p>I searched Youtube and found this guy with a pretty easy to follow tutorial. He puts up some great animations and images to ensure you get the chords right and he&#8217;s from Bristol, just down the road from me, so it&#8217;s as good a reason as any to promote him.</p>

<p>It only reached number 3 here in the UK charts and wasn&#8217;t really followed with much European success but Kryponite launched 3 Doors down in the states to go on to create many fantastic albums.</p>
