Sometimes you wonder what it would be like if two of your favourite musicians got together for a jam, well here’s what happened when two of mine did.

Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins get together and really blow the cobwebs from their acoustics to great effect.

Do I wish MK played acoustic predominantly? No. Am I happy that “Get Lucky” is mostly Acoustic? No. Does that make him any less of a musician? Hell No.

Knopfler could take up the wazzoo and I’d still listen intently. If you’re a beginner or are lacking inspiration I order you to listen to everything MK has ever done.

If you’re an acoustic musician and have never heard of Chet Atkins then similarly go do your homework.

Quite an old preformance from the fingerstyle guitarist but still one of the best, and most beautiful.

Andy plays at CandyRat studios whilst recording his album and decides to create a few videos for Youtube.

Little does he know that years later some of these videos will have earned over 25 million views.
